If install continues to fail, even when using "Run as Administrator", and this installation is an upgrade of an earlier version, then the problem will be due to failure to overwrite the existing drivers.
CopySafe Service Upgrade ======================
If an error occurs when upgrading to the latest versions, it is because the CopySafe Service has been upgraded. As a Windows Service it may require more attention than usual to overwrite its existing files.
So we recommend running the installer again, only this time, right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator".
Update Failure =============
If install still fails after using "Run as Administrator" it will be because the CopySafe Service files have not been overwritten, in which they case they will need to be removed before installing again.
To Remove the Copysafe Service ==========================
Open a command prompt and run the following commands: 1. SC STOP CSHelper 2. SC delete CSHelper
Then manually delete all files found at: For 32-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ArtistScope For 64-bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\ArtistScope
Now run the installer using "Run as Administrator"
If all still fails ===========
If for some reason that you still get a message about not being able to delete the .SYS file, restart the computer in Safe Mode, delete: For 32-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ArtistScope For 64-bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\ArtistScope
Then restart the computer in Normal Mode and use "Run as Administrator" to run the installer.
