15th November, 2025 — CopySafe copy protected PDF can now be displayed and read on all computers and devices including mobile phones.
CopySafe PDF documents displayed on web pages for online reading can now be read using the ArtisBrowser which is available for all Windows, Mac OSX, iOS and Android phones.
While CopySafe PDF documents for download and desktop reading still require the CopySafe PDF Reader, when published online by embedding into a web page, the ArtisBrowser can decrypt and display the copy protected doduments kust like normal PDF readers - except that the document cannot be saved or copied in any way.
The main advantage of publshing PDF on web pages, is that subscribers get to read the latest version every time.
Also, managing collections for online courses can be a lot easier when using web pages to catalogue and index the various parts of a course. Subscriber and access rights management also gets easier by using membership logins with group level assignment.
