Link Protection

The Link Protect module was primarily developed to prevent "Hot Linking" and bandwidth theft.

Protecting Web Page Links

Link Protect was the first protection script of its kind and based on CGI. These days there are many similar scripts available written in PHP. However if using a CMS like Drupal, Joomla, Moodle or WordPress you can use the ArtistScope Site Protection System (ASPS) to copy protect your web site without chance of exploitation or data extraction. When used with SSL, ASPS will also protect against packet sniffers and nothing can be extracted from browser cache or memory.

But if simply looking for link protection, simply limit access to your web site (or select pages) to the ArtisBrowser only. ArtisBrowser is the web browser that is used with ASPS and on its own prevents link and data extraction. Data and media links cannot be retrieved from browser source view, cache or memory.
