When manually registered by the admin/author, new users can be added to nay group managed by the admin/author (each admin/author can create an unlimited number of groups).

Once registered/assigned, the admin/author can move users to any other group that they manage. New groups can be created by the admin/author at will and without limitation.

New users that are added automatically from successful sales will be added to the admin/authors default group, unless otherwise specified in the admin/author's portal setting as the group for online sales, ie: an "Ebook" group which may not have videos assigned so that users have access to only those videos which they purchase (for this videos should be in a separate group to users)
