No, it doesn't enable file sharing. What is does do is enable viewing on a remote partition such as when running a different OS in a partition created by VMware or Parallels. For example Mac users can install Windows via Parallels to be able to read Copysafe PDF.
But because the copy protection is applied to the OS system inside that partition, it may be possible to screen capture from a window running the original OS where copy protection has not been applied.
The default setting, and the recommended setting is "remote viewing disabled". The author enables "remote viewing" at their own discretion.

Enabling REMOTE viewing can make all sorts of exploits possible.
- Allow users to view desktops remotely for unrestricted capture and recording.
- Allow the use of printer-drivers to convert files to any format they desire.
It is most recommended to disallow Remote viewing in your settings at all times. Anyone not using a normal computer or device as it was designed is not someone that you should allow near your intellectual property.
